I loved the conference.the way that DR musevi introduce (kasravi was interesting ) he take the personage he analyze him and bring to actual politics .how pity to finish his life like that .

I had only good idea of who Kasravi was before this speech. But Dr. Musevi's speech really filled in the blanks and gave away the essence of the man. Dr. Musevi was intellectual, understandable, and relatable. He cannot be praised enough.

This dentist, Javid Mousavi, is a well-known pan-turkist in the Montreal community whose presentations uptil now have aimed to deconstruct iranian nationalism. Last year, he tried in the Anjoman-e Adabi to nullify the essence of iranian culture, just to give you an example.

He uses Montreal's iranian community as a testbed to perfect his "discoveries" before submitting them to the pan-turkist community.

Why did you invite him? You should do a minimum of research about any person before giving it a podium.

The comment by this gentleman, is another reason why we, Iranian, are still acting in favor of dictatorial governments. They always tried to make us think, that somehow we are different from each other. TURK, KORD, FARS and…..
This speech is about a respectful and somehow ANOTHER forgotten genius of Iran that was done extremely well with Dr. Mousavi. I believe it is only fair to learn from it before we start blaming other people of their personal Ideas and believes.

Last but not least is that I know Dr. Mousavi from a long relationship and HE IS EXACTLY OPPOSITE OF WHAT THIS GENTELMAN WAS ACCUSING HIM OF.
I’ve been in many occasions with him and he is not into these sorts of Dictatorial games like PANTORKISM and…..
Please Stop! Learn and focus on our Similarities rather than our differences. KEEP YOUR PERSONAL IDEA FOR YOURSELF. Stop making us think that we are different. We are all Iranian no matter what language we speak, what color is our skin, what religion we have and what philosophy do we follow.

Any time the radicals want to stop people, and prevent them from their free speech, they always use this kind of weapon against them. Even nowadays people like Ahmadinejad is talking like this anywhere they go.

When I first read the comment by Jamshid , I was quite taken aback. since he seems to be using "THIS DENTIST" as a derogatory term to refer to the respected doctor and scholar Dr.Musevi.'s field of expertise
On the lighter side I take this to be the bitter memories of childhood with a dentist drill !!
As for Dr.musevi to be a zealous Turk, nothing is further from the truth,in the long years that I have had the pleasure of knowing this gentleman first hand, I have never ever been Witness to a single case of chauvinistic utterance by him,I go one step further than Ali (the above commentator) ,in that a nationality is nothing to be proud or ashamed of ,since we had no choice init.
We are all human beings(at least some of us !!) who inhabit a tiny speck of dust in the vast expanse of the universe,the purpose of Dr.musavi was to enlighten us to the life of a Forgotten scholar, researcher and a humanitarian, not to widen the chasm that separates us culturally or geographically.
He is not a panturkist but a panhumanist!!(my own invention , sorry!!) last but not the least is that Dr.musevi was only speaking Farsi despite the fact that a large number of our Turkish friends were present, unlike the French in our very own province who wince at the thought of speaking English!!

At the end we are truly grateful to Dr.Musavi , at the same time we hope he would not take the detractors comment to heart and keep on good work.

Jamshid this is for you.... Jealousy is simply and clearly the fear that you do not have value. Jealousy scans for evidence to prove the point - that others will be preferred and rewarded more than you. There is only one alternative - self-value. If you cannot love yourself, you will not believe that you are loved. You will always think it's a mistake or luck. Take your eyes off others and turn the scanner within. Find the seeds of your jealousy, clear the old voices and experiences. Put all the energy into building your personal and emotional security. Then you will be the one others envy, and you can remember the pain and reach out to them.
